Time Capsule Event at the Elkhorn Centre

What a great introduction to the new Light Rail system and our new building, Elkhorn Centre East, in Surfers Paradise. Thirty of the Year 7 students who attend Surfers Paradise State School had an absolutely fabulous excursion to remember!

We started the day by catching the G:link Tram from Southport to Elkhorn Centre East where the children filled our time capsule with their chosen treasures, and one by one let everyone know what they chose and why.

This was such a special opportunity for the children because we plan  on opening the time capsule in about 10 years time.

Then we enjoyed some special Agent Kay cupcakes along with morning tea, and the children got to learn a thing or two on the importance of an eco friendly green building.
